Despite The Eerie Sight Of A Colossal Sea Monster’s Skeleton Emerging, Tourists Continue To Flock For A Closer Look

According to the Mybestplace page, this is a metal sculpture called Serpent d’Océan located on the beach of Saint-Brevin-les-Pins, a small French town, on the same edge of the Loire estuary connecting the Atlantic Ocean.

The giant monster skeleton stands out in the middle of the deserted beach.

This monster skeleton looks like a giant prehistoric snake emerging from the bottom of the desolate sea. It has no flesh, but only a skeleton that curves like the real thing. A sight that, if not foretold, will make one’s heart flutter when they see it for the first time.

This is the work of Chinese-French artist Huang Yong Ping. It was created for the 2012 Voyage à Nantes for the Estuaire Festival – a contemporary art exhibition.

The 130m long Serpent d’Océan is made entirely of aluminum. This is a metal sculpture called Serpent d’Océan located on the beach of Saint-Brevin-les-Pins, a small French town, on the same edge of the Loire estuary connecting the Atlantic Ocean.

The skeleton totaling 130 meters is made entirely of aluminum metal and appears to be emerging from the seabed in a terrifying manner. The tortuous movement of its vertebrae creates the illusion of a living being. It rises and falls again to the rhythm of the tide.

When viewed from above, this moment really makes many viewers shudder because of the smooth, lifelike snake winding on the water. When looking up close, people are even more stunned by its elaborateness.

The winding movement of the vertebrae of this work of art creates the illusion of a living being. It was as if it wanted to emerge from the surface of the ocean.

The message behind this artwork is to protect the environment and the life of creatures living in the ocean.

The image of the animal with only a skeleton remains as a representation of human mistreatment of the ocean. Humans are killing not only the life of sea creatures but also the wonders under the water.

The message behind this work of art is to protect the environment and the life of creatures living in the ocean.

Despite its strange and somewhat terrifying appearance, this work still attracts a lot of tourists to visit and take photos. The proof is that there have been countless photos posted on social networks of this giant monster skeleton.

Take a look at these strangely beautiful photos of this unique work of art:
