Chris said: “I started growing carrots indoors in January and always have to make sure there is enough light for the plant to grow until warmer weather in spring before bringing it out. This summer is quite cool and cloudy, creating the perfect growing conditions for carrots.”
This financial officer also said: “I didn’t know anything about gardening before. Three years ago I came up with the idea of making my own garden. At first, I only planted varieties of plants. but then I decided to turn the garden into a place to produce giant fruits and vegetables.In addition to carrots, Chris also grows watermelons and giant pumpkins.
With this weight, Chris Qualley is expected to apply to be recognized as the world’s largest carrot. The record for the largest carrot in the world currently belongs to the product of Mr. Peter Glazebrook of Nottinghamshire (UK). This man was recorded in the Guinness Book of World Records in 2014 with a carrot weighing 9kg.
