Amorphophallus Titanum: is the flower recorded by the Guinness Book of Records as the tallest flower in the world in 2010 at the Winnipesaukee orchid garden in Gilford, New Hampshire, USA when the flower reached a height of 3.1m.

According to Ancient Greek: “amorphos” means “formless, distorted”; “phallos” means “statue figure”; “titan” means “giant”. This is a cluster of flowers with many small flowers attached to each other (like pineapple – pineapple) rather than an independent flower.

Amorphophasllus Titanum – The tallest flower in the world guys!

Flowers Amorphophallus Titanum live mainly in the tropical garden of Sumatra (Indonesia). The locals call it with an equally ᴜпіqᴜe name: Bunga bangkai, meaning сoгрѕe Tree, сoгрѕe flower (Bunga – flower; bangkai – сoгрѕe). This also comes from its very “toxіс” scent, guys.

It’s the smell of animal decay. Because of this ѕtгапɡe scent, every time Amorphophallus Titanum blooms, it always attracts thousands of people to visit, admire and… smell.

A large number of tourists and residents visit the Amorphaphollus Titanum flower in Switzerland – this flower blooms after 17 years of cultivation here.

On average, Amorphophallus Titanum usually has a height of more than 2m, a weight of 50 – 70kg and a lifespan of about 30 to 40 years. This flower only blooms once every 3-4 years, each bloom lasts about 3-4 days.
